Plans being made...

I have felt better overall today but I'm sure that's entirely due to the fact that they have me tripled up on stuff for nausea and have been giving me pain meds more frequently than I had been asking for them myself yesterday. My body is having an unwanted party right now for sure. In my CT scan from Sunday they can see a lot of liquid that is just chilling in my small intestine because it can't get through due to obstructions being caused by all of my growths.
I officially have 5 growths - the original cyst, the tumor that is right by it, a small cyst on my left ovary, and 2 newly discovered growths that are on either side of my colon. They also can't see my appendix at all in the recent scans. So, for now the next step is a laprascopic surgery tonight during which they'll be removing my left ovary/fallopian tube and my appendix if they can get to it. Then they'll run a bunch of tests on those late tonight and into tomorrow morning to see if they can pinpoint one of them as being the cause for everything going on.
I have to have a G-tube put in, the one that goes through your nose into your stomach, which will hopefully relieve some of the pressure in my digestive system before surgery tonight. Dr D - the gynecologic oncologist who will be doing this surgery - said he wouldn't dare do any type of surgery without that tube being in because I'd have a high risk of vomiting during the procedure with all of my digestive problems going on.
After running pathology on tissue and such from tonight's surgery they are hoping to have more answers of some sort and then the plan as of now would be an open surgery - mostly to be done on Thursday - to get as many of my growths out as they can. Obviously I wish my body had a bit less going on with it right now but I keep telling cliff I'm just glad I wasn't crazy and over-exaggerating my symptoms or whatever. I would have been a bit miffed if I had drug us into the ER for no reason at all.
We'll take any prayers that we can get answers of some sort out of tonight's surgery and that the doctors can be guided through each surgery. Love you all and I hope your holiday weekend was a bit less exciting than ours has been.
